First I soak the chain over night in a mixture of 1 cup of ammonia to 1 gallon of water. Remove chain and rinse in WD 40. Hang to dry. Then sharpen. Soak in oil over night, then hang to drip off excess oil. The chains look and feel like new !While pushing the nose (Reduces vaccum) into the bench top, pull the folower out with a pair of needle nose pliers. Pack with desired grease and then push the follower back into the tube. From there work the nose a bit to purge any air untill it starts pushing grease. The 6100 is being discontinued next spring along with all of the dolmar/makita saws. They are very good 60cc saws but parts/dealership availability will only get worse in the coming years. I'm not trying to talk you out of a 6100, I really like mine, but you do need to take that into account.Apr 12, 2012. #2. The mufflers are built the same way as the ms361 is. They have a very restricted exhaust. Theres a thread on here that Lakeside53 did on modding the 361 muffler. See if you can find it. It's an easy mod and works pretty good. I believe the older true 65cc Husqvarna 365 is 24" max. The newer 365XT and 2166 versions are 70cc and have a 28" max. Other Swedish saw to consider in red are 2258, 2260 and 2165. For kicks or whatever the test group put the 15 to 1 mix in the engine that lost power on 50 to 1 and checked horsepower again and it came back up very significantly.
