It connected to Xfinity and was adopted by my UDM Pro with no issue. The UCI is running 1.2.4 and the last update as on install. Beginning last night the UCI shows as "offline" in the controller. The UDM Pro correctly shows the connection as being active and traffic flows normally and at the same U/D speeds as before. No significant packet loss.Unifi is great. They do have software quality control issues. If you disable auto update on your controller and pay attention to the release threads in the UniFi forums and only update when it's safe you'll be very happy. Log In …Biggest difference would be the 5Ghz radios being 4x4 in the U6-LR, whereas the U6-Lite is 2x2 on the 5Ghz. Almost all devices these days are 2x2 except maybe a desktop with a wireless add in card. Even the new Macbooks have went from 3x3 to 2x2. Also the U6-LRs are HUGE compared to the U6-Lites. Gave it to my parents and they have used it for the past 2 years without issues as well. My modems shit the bed before my Ubiquiti products do. You do have a point that the aliens been around for a bit. May be worth researching if they plan on releasing a new router for home anytime soon..
